PenBay Media to Participate on $5B Federal IT Contract Vehicle for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses

ROCKLAND, ME, Nov. 16, 2017 – Maine-based technology contractor Penobscot Bay Media is an awardee on the General Services Administration’s new $5 billion IT services contract vehicle reserved only for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses.

GSA announced 70 awards for the Veterans Technology Services 2 (VETS 2) contract out of a pool of 187 proposals.  Awardees will have the opportunity to bid on federal government task orders in the areas of data management, information and communications technology, IT operations and maintenance, software development, systems design, and new and emerging technologies. PenBay Media was also an awardee on the previous VETS contract vehicle in 2006.
