ROCKLAND, ME, Aug. 14, 2018 – Maine-based technology contractor Penobscot Bay Media LLC has been awarded a 3-year task order contract to provide Information Technology (IT) support services to the U.S. Army Cadet Command (USACC), headquartered at Fort Knox, KY. Valued at approximately $20 million, this task order award was made under the General Services Administration’s (GSA) VETS 2 contract awarded to PenBay Media earlier this year. VETS 2 is GSA’s $5 billion IT services contract vehicle reserved only for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses. There are 70 awardees of the GSA VETS 2 contract.
The USACC is responsible for oversight of all U.S. Army Senior and Junior Level Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). Under this contract PenBay Media will ensure the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Information Management (C4IM) needs of the USACC are met.
